The Mercer condos @ King and John
Prices go up end of January 2011!
The Mercer is a combination of brick, stone and glass will give the condominium on 8 Mercer Street (and John st. Between Front and King) a unique look amidst the surrounding anonymous builds of pure glass. The Mercer is located right in the middle of the theatre district.
With John Street at the front door, the “Cultural Corridor” boasts the Grange Park on one end, with the Art Gallery of Ontario and Ontario College of Art and Design along the way, all the way to Queens Quay waterfront. In between all of it is a plethora of fantastic entertainment and attractions such as the Much Music building, the Scotiabank multiplex theatre, the “TIFF building” (The Bell Lightbox – 5 cinemas, 3 galleries, 3 studios, and a film library), plenty of theatres and concert halls on King street (Roy Thomson Hall, Royal Alex and Princess of Wales theatres, Bell Lightbox), and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) headquarters on Front street, all of which makes the Mercer Condominium a very attractive place to live for anyone.
The most attractive proximity amenity for the outgoing hustling and bustling individual, would be the access across the street to Toronto’s infamous “Path System”. The world’s largest underground shopping complex (4 million square feet of retail space) passageway will connect you to most of downtown Toronto in a climate controlled environment. Yes, whether we’d like to admit it or not, it gets cold in Toronto for a good half of the year. The Path will give you access from Nathan Phillips to Yonge and Dundas (Eatons Centre) all the way down to Union Station and the Air Canada Center and everything in between. Who wouldn’t want to live here?
